Intermediate Technique and Choreography
In January, we’re going back to basics to build strength, control, and body awareness, while still keeping things spicy. This class is great for beginners looking to bridge their skills up to an intermediate level, or advanced dancers looking to refine their movement mechanics and level up as a dancer.

45 minutes of technique & conditioning to build strength and proper muscle engagement
45 minutes of choreography that brings the week’s technical focus to life
What will we be working on in January?
Shapes and Sharpness
Exercises are focused on creating mind to muscle connection and recall these movements quickly.
Fluidity and Fullness
Exercises are centred around finding length and softness, learning to fill the music even between counts.
Floorwork
Exercises will be focused on floorwork. Bring your knee pads, we’ll be spending almost the whole class on the floor.
Improv and Connection
Exercises will challenge you to listen to the music while you explore your own movements.
